Very centrally located, does good cheapish food. Very social and laid back, avoids too much formality. Decent range of rooms for a reasonable price. Does not have a JCR - the bar functions as this for most purposes but does not have anywhere that can be booked out for late events. Music practice rooms are limited and quite small. Individual accomodation blocks have their own common rooms which are usually quite good, though vary depending on hostel size. A little way from the West Cambridge site but all other departments within a ten minute walk, also a good range of shops and an excellent market nearby.

Kings 1st years either live in the Keynes building or Spalding hostel. I live in Keynes which is right in the centre of college and has all en-suite rooms. Nothing to complain about really, although our communal kitchens ('gyps') are really poor communal spaces

The halls are very new and quaint, with superb facilities. The accommodation is very close to where i take my classes and the overall experience is satisfactory.
