The catering aspects allows you to really relax and have less to worry about. It’s really great being able to get a full English after a night out. I couldn’t think of a better hangover cure ! Also I love the social aspect of it. Every dinner is a chance to chat to someone new and I feel this has help me make lot a of different friends here. The dinner hall as well as the grounds are second to non and are truly very Very special.

Location is further away from main uni campus where lectures are however it is the most social area with lots of other students from other halls, good to get away from the city as Stoke Bishop is very campus like, with lots of greenery. Very good range of facilities such as billiard room, bar, two study rooms open all night, two lounges, music room etc. social experience has been average, the dining hall is a good place to familiarize yourself with people in your accom. However this can be quite cliquey with groups forming quickly. Old Quad rooms are much better for socializing due to the quad system however New quad does have the comfortability of en suite and more modern rooms. All rooms are comfortable and clean

I love Wills. My room is amazing and the most generous of sizes. The location is a bit far but it's good that other halls are close by. However, the food could be a bit better and the kitchens could be given cookers at least seeing as how we're not given lunch during the week and no dinner on the weekends.

The location was a bit further from the university, but I really liked it given the environment around it. I loved my room, I couldn't have expected anything better.

Amazing location overlooking Stoke Bishop. So much to do in halls, and great parties. The social activities mean everyone gets on really well. Only downside is the internet can be a bit rubbish sometimes.

I stayed in the U Block and had a great time! Met some amazing people and all the staff are lovely! I especially enjoyed the events that were put on like the wills bbq and all the formals

Beautiful and serene, Wills Hall is well located in Stoke Bishop, which while a 35 minute walk away from the University, is close to many other halls, creating a campus-like environment. A free bus is provided until 4am to take you to Uni and further into the city and is mostly reliable and frequent. While the rooms are old and need updating, there is an overall community spirit through the halls. It is great socially as we all dine together in the Great Hall, have frequent formals and balls.

Halls are so important at Bristol University. Where you go impacts your entire experience. Wills Hall is in Stoke Bishop which is the place to be as a fresher. The rooms are undoubtedly the best at Uni. I'm talking huge rooms, a fire place, in an old gothic mansion. The rooms look out to an old quad, and are indeed very Oxford-esque. These rooms were not ensuite which I thought would bother me but there was a toilet on all floors so I was only sharing with 3 other girls and it was never a problem. The best thing about Wills was the social experience. It's quite small and you knew everyone well. On Friday, there was a formal dinner every week. We'd dress up in gowns. The food was average but the experience was unforgettable. The formals often had themes, such as "The Harry Potter Formal". It was fun and friendly, and everyone out there was jealous they didn't pick Wills Hall. I'd recommend it above all other halls.

Old quad rooms are very spacious and have enough storage room. The blocks are good but would be nice to have a space such as a living room with a sofa or two to sit with friends in the block. Dinners are average, would probably be nicer if they just made them a bit more simple. JCR is very good and aling with bar creates a good social environment with good chances to get to know many people in halls.

Stoke bishop was far out but very sociable. The commute was off-putting but I enjoyed being in wills overall. The rooms were nice and having an ensuite was really convenient. I really liked the people I met in halls.
