Good size for the kitchen and communal areas, and the en suite makes life easier, however I have found the security to be a nuisance and the price of the accommodation is high.

The social life of living on campus was a dream, there’s no experience like being 100 steps from your best friends or people you can hang out with. Living in halls is something everyone should experience because it changes the way you see people and life. I have a lot of stuff so my room was a bit small for me but you have your own space with your own bathroom and it’s a great start to moving away from home.

Great location as you are right next to the university lectures theatres, however, for a night out it does take some planning and a short journey on a bus into town.

Hot water in my bathroom never works, shower curtains are horrible and my heating doesn't work. However lovely location close to lectures and gym and really good atmosphere during freshers

The facilities are perfect 2 hob/ovens and ensuite rooms with showers. Rooms are pretty sound proof minimal noise gets through from other rooms. Only improvement for me would be the beds, not overly comfy and would preferably be double. The WiFi is also severely lacking if more than one person is using it.

Great location for uni, quite a trek to get to town but only a 15 minutes bus ride - could be worse. Good facilities and room space, social experience is good.

Despite the decor being dated and the heating not always working, my favourite part of halls is no matter the time of day there’s always someone in a room next to you ready to socialise and have fun.

Modern, light and spacious. Could be warmer though and offer for more comfortable seating in the seating area. Also could have more kitchen cupboards for storage. Bedrooms are basic and the beds are small. Big though and quite a lot of storage. Toilet and wet room is small but sufficient. Overall it’s okay, more than sufficient to live in but there are problems. A lot of things break throughout the year probably due to the fact they rarely replace things between tenants.

I did enjoy living here at first but then the noise around campus and my flatmates being messy and extremely loud after nights out, it drives me crazy. But it did allow me to learn how to live on my own away from family

The halls themselves were very nice, the kitchen was big enough for all of us to store our stuff and enough fridge space for all. Lounge area was nice and decent size also. The rooms were a good size and had a huge desk with lots of desk space which was good. The en-suite was nice although wish the shower was separate rather than the whole bathroom being a washroom sort of thing. Washing machine facilities were a hassle to use and not too close-by.

We had an ensuite and lived with 5 other students, one of which I am currently dating 3 years later. The privacy of having my own shower and toilet was worth every penny however it was still quite expensive for a 9 month lease. Each room was sound proofed well which was great for parties and day to day life.

The rooms are a good size and you have a huge desk where you can store all your work. There is also loads of other storage space like cupboards to have all your clothes.

Location of the Student village is perfect, less than a 5 minute walk to any lecture hall, the SU, cash points and cafes. Also within close proximity to the local supermarket and restaurants. Amazing sports centre and gyms with running paths and couple paths going through campus. Socially amazing as you are surrounded by 4 other blocks from the Student village and amazing chance to meet people on your course and your accommodation during freshers and throughout the year.

Bedroom size is spacious and, from what I've seen, bigger than many other unis' halls. Kitchen is perfectly big enough and 6 flatmates seems the perfect size. Location is fantastic, 5 minute walk from my building, and with a great view of the astro turf so I can see all the sport, and there's a great view of the city from the window. Wouldn't change a thing about my halls.

The facilities available are amazing, with a shop and gym just around the corner. For the price, a wet room and large bedroom is great value for money. and since all the flats are close together, it was easy to make friends.

Personally, I think the price we pay for what we get is far too high, having to pay for our own tv lisences when students in other accommodation do not and also have a tv provided for them...they also pay less than I do. The convenience of being on campus is pretty good, however the general quality is poor. Things break, boilers leak, and the whole building isn't even 5 years old yet. It's so loud, security can't be bothered to stop top floor from being loud 24/7. Makes me not want to do uni.

The halls are right next to the uni and easy to access, got good shops nearby too and Student Unions shops on campus. Constant inspections and maintenance which can get slightly annoying. Easy to use keycards with 24/7 support at reception.

The security there is the only major downside. You’re treated like a kid - curfews etc. Other than that it’s great to be so close to lectures and the facilities are good

Loved living here. The accommodation was modern and well equipped, and the rooms were generous in size. The only issue is that it is rather pricey.

Location is ideal in terms of being on campus so no need to roll out of bed for lectures until 10 mins before! However the down side to being on campus is that you have to get the bus to get anywhere as there isn't much to do up in frenchay. Bit of a pain if you just wanna go for a few drinks but have to make the effort of catching a bus. The actual rooms are pretty decent in terms of size and the fact you get an ensure! Obviously a bit plain like any other student room so you have to make it your own. Large kitchen and dining area which is fab for pre drinks. All in all the actually accommodation is decent but I'd still recommend going to Halls in city centre for more of a social experience.
