For students there are many bars and clubs in Brighton, with many well know special events every single week. Also there are a number of big djs who perform in these clubs, as well as famous singers you can see who perform in Brighton on their tours, for example Jess Glynne, Anne Marie, Catfish and the Bottleman and many more. There’s a bar/club for everyone and Brighton has one of the best gay bar/clubs around, with regular famous drag queens visiting from America. There are even more different food places in Brighton, with such variety and accommodating dietary acquirements, especially many places for vegans. There is a huge shopping mall, as well as larger stores outside of this, but what makes Brighton even better is the lanes that have vintage, second hand stores and stalls, that give a great energy when walking through them, with more food places and pubs. Lastly you can’t forget that Brighton is along the beach and in the summer it is a thriving place to visit.

Brighton is the gem of the south! It has everything you can ask for, whether you look for an adventure, or for a party, or for an inspirational relaxing time! Brighton with its sea, and it's hills has got you covered for any occasion! The people are lovely and you will always feel like at home! Even if it seems quite expensive at first, you will soon become a local and will find the best places to eat and drink, with restaurants, cafés, and pubs on every corner you will always have somewhere to go and the experience will be incomparable.

Brighton is such a party and relax city. I strongly recommend to visit this city in summer, coz there are many events from May to August. And the views are so amazing especially during summer to early autumn. Anyway there are loads nice and lovely restaurants and cafe.

Brighton is one of the most vibrant, entertaining and accepting cities in the UK. Just a short (and direct) train journey down from London, it offers every luxury of the capital plus the beauty of the southern coastline. With students from both Sussex and Brighton University, the city of Brighton is full of young life. During the day there are enough tourist attractions like the Pier and the Brighton Museum and Art gallery which are just some examples of free days out. The Lanes and Churchill Square provide an inclusive and wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants and vibrant night clubs and bars in the evenings. These include a huge range of gay bars and pubs.

Day or night there is always something to do in Brighton! The day life is full of quirky art, random street performers (like the bird whistle guy or the zebra pianist) and other cool things to see. Night life is also great with about 5/6 different clubs and multiple bars to enjoy. Best of all, everyone in Brighton is pretty chilled and accepting of all things which makes the place in general more enjoyable.

Personally, I could not imagine being a student anywhere else but Brighton. The city has plenty options for fun during the day and night. The most obvious benefit being the beach! Most student housing is within a 15 minute walk to the seaside, which is the most popular meet up spot over summer. This also works out being a cheap way to socialise, as you can bring your own beers and food from the shop. In terms of restaurant options, Brighton is bursting with a variety of cuisines, some of which offer student discount and deals. Bars and pubs are also plentiful all around the city. The nightlife is fairly limited to Patterns if you are into electronic music (eg techno, electro, house) however the venue offers a great sound system and has renowned djs every weekend. Volks and Rialto theatre also offer good events time to time. Shopping choices are great - the north lanes are perfect for vintage finds and market style shops, whilst the south lanes are more upmarket and churchill square offers your standard high street options. Overall it's just the best place to live your student life and meet open minded others whilst being be the sea. Love you always Brighton!!

Brighton is one of the most lively and entertaining places you could visit, the amount of bars, resturants, music venues and clubs is endless. If you like music this is the city for you, the music scene is very much alive and thriving and I've never felt more at home here.

Fantastic city, not too big or small. A variety of things to do from live music, various clubs, comedy, art, festivals. In terms of eating out there are sorts of different cuisines and nationalities of food. The beach is definitely the highlight, in summer drinking beer on the pebbles to playing volleyball there is something to keep everyone entertained. As a bonus, it's also only an hour from London with a direct train.

There is so much to do here. It's my favourite city! The shops are great, there's a wide range of restaurants and bars, and the beach is amazing. Nights out are always good, although a little expensive for a student budget.

Brighton is a vibrant city with a diverses range of people living in it. Everyone is froemdslg and happy, especially during summer time when the city comes to life and becomes a socialising hub. In Brighton there are many parks where people sit around with some beers and maybe a BBQ and just have a great time. Also there's the beach where people have picnics there while having the occasional dip in the sea. In Brighton there is also the lanes where you can find an array of vintage shops for example Dirty Harry. Many shops around do student discounts as it is such a studenty city. However, overall it is quite an expensive city, especially for going out.

Amazingly beautiful city, especially when the sun is out. There are so many independent coffee shops which gives lots of variety! I am vegan and the ethically conscious restaurants and cafes are in their multitudes which is great. I recommend cafes off the beaten track and not on the popular laines - much more chilled with less crowds!

Brighton might be one of the best olaces in the Uk ti experience student life. It is a bit expensive, however, theres much to do around here. It feels like a paradise to those who love shopping as there is a wide range of shops and there is also a wide range of restaurants for foodies. The best part abt brighton is that its got the best sunsets.

Range of things to do on a night out no matter your music taste etc! The Brighton centre is great for gigs and they put on some massive acts such as Florence and the machine and The 1975

Amazing nights out with a variety of clubs which appeal to many different music types and crowds. Tonnes of cool house parties! Loads of restaurants and student deals. Very expensive rent and an expensive town to live in generally however so so worth it! Best part is being right by the beach and being able to walk down to the seafront on a gloomy day. Will miss it so much
