Single bed very small, nice sized room good toilet facilities, good kitchen not enough fridge space, very social campus with activities and very good catered food

Relatively new, spacious rooms, nice to have a private shower. The food was quite good and there has always been vegetarian options. The location is very far from the city centre and is not very good for students who study at grand parade, and there are no shops nearby.

Good modern rooms with lots of outlets and storage. Small rooms though with only a single bed. Good ensuites. Top floor rooms are best with high ceilings. Good kitchens.

The location is a bit far from the main road, with all the common bus routes. It’s walking distance to most campuses and has a free bus service to those as well, which is good but can be up to 45 minutes late on a bad day. Socially, I met some of my best friends in halls and it’s suprising the difference in experience compared with those who live in unihomes or privately rented houses. My room was quite small but rooms enough with an ensuite, single bed, wardrobe, desk etc.

Catered halls is really good meaning we don’t have to cook Monday through the Friday and the room is very spacious although there is only a single bed. Kitchen is spacious although lounge room is separate to actual flat so doesn’t get used a lot

Great en suite in rooms and suitably sized kitchen for the 8 of us living in each flat. However the lack of connected shared space such as a good lounge is lacking.

the social experience living in halls is one you cannot experience anyway, living in varley Park is a great atmosphere, people are always about you’d never feel alone. Although the location is slightly far from town meaning it’s a slight trek on the bus.

I absolutely loved my halls when I was in 1st year, they were amazing. Staff were always there as soon as there was a problem, cleaners done an amazing job and the rooms were lovely/modern. Slightly out of the centre but easy to get to with the frequent buses. Would love to live there again.

The rooms were really nice and modern looking, with a nice kitchen! The only problem was it was catered and you didn’t have the option if you didn’t liken the food making it more expensive.

only 7 people in flat! room is very nice but location is bad as we're on the bottom floor. windows could be thicker, food is shit

Location is quite far out from anything useful except the post office, beautiful area though. Facilities on campus are lovely the rooms are well sized, stupidly though the living room area is separate from everything else which is a terrible flaw really. People I lived with were the worst bit.
