Location out of the way from the main town however this is good for people who like some peace and quite from the bustle of the city. Chalvington is catered so you get breakfast and dinner for free Monday- Friday. This saves time and money for first years who have neither ! My room has everything it needs and you can create a cosy space for yourself with the space provided. It’s light and airy unlike some student rooms I’ve seen which are dingy and dark. A sink is provided which is really handy. This accommodation is definitely for those who want to interact with others and make friends quickly. Coming on the first day was so nerve racking but everyone around me was so kind and we helped each other. There’s always something going on here as there’s over 700 students living at varley park. So if your a social person here’s the place to be.

Being one of the cheapest halls you wouldn't expect much from it. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. The kitchen/communal area was all freshly done. Perfect for hanging out in the evenings. These hall st Waldo catered. Was sad to leave and actually cook for myself send and third year.

The facilities are nice no en suite but still a nice place to live. Not the most social of accommodations but still an enjoyable experience. Having 2 toilets,2 showers and 1 bathroom as well as a kitchen and a living room means that you are not constantly in wait for using something.
