Dated interior and very far from university. The vibe at this place is very rough, and facilities are rubbish. Rooms look like prison cells and there was no natural light.

The fact its not on the vale really holds you back from socialising with a broader range of people and the opportunities that brings. Make sure if you stay here to make friends with people on the vale as they can introduce you to so many more potential friends. Its a long walk from the uni but there is a free shuttle bus running on weekdays albeit at inconvenient times.

Very good halls. It’s close to lecture halls. Good amenities. Rooms are spacious. Social life is good. Overall really happy with the experience as of now. Bus connectivity is good from the halls. Good social life as well. Students from various countries and everybody’s nice.

Location was a shame - in the middle of nowhere. Nice rooms though, personally had problems with the people there but that wasn’t Library Court’s problem. The rooms were nice, ensuites. There are ‘prettier’ halls though.

My halls are, well, kinda good kinda a rip off. The kitchens are roomy, the layout of the actual halls themselves is nice, but that’s about where it ends. I guess I can’t be too picky since I’ve got an en-suite, (yup, one of them) but it does eat into my room space. Also, with a 30 minute walk to uni I’m a ‘trek and a half away’ as we say in Yorkshire (where I’m from). The price we pay cannot be justified to say we live so far away. The social experience would be decent, if it weren’t for the bloody SAS patrolling round at night telling us to shut up. Come on we’re students, let us live.

The location is not ideal as it is a fair walk away from the uni however this is subsidised by a bus timetable (although the timetable is not very favouring and means I often have to walk) however this is a trade off for the free parking and quality of the place. It is always clean and tidy and any problems are dealt with extremely quickly. The rooms are well furnished and modern with enough space for one person, the only upgrade would be to have a double bed. Security can often be frustrating as they tell us off a lot, unjustly I feel, however they are just doing their job. Everyone here is lovely and welcoming and gets along with everyone

Good condition rooms and kitchen, although a small bed Only criticisms are the distance from the University and the lack of social events

Good location for going into the city. Convenient shop, pub and takeaway opposite. Flats were good and maintenance staff were very helpful. A little bit far from uni and the shuttle bus could be unreliable but overall a good place to live

Old and average but good distance to uni. Value for money overall. Socials were okay, mostly post grads

I was fortunate that I actually got a larger room at Liberty Court than most due to the layout of the building, however the majority of the rooms were extremely small with very little storage space. The kitchens were a good size and were a good layout for socialising with others. I believe ensuite was the only option at Liberty Court which meant I didn't choose this site as my first choice as it was too expensive. When I was allocated my room, however, I was grateful for the en suite as it meant I didn't have to worry about clashing with others (or it being dirty!). Having a room with a bed under the window overlooking the courtyard meant that it was rather noisy and I was disturbed by students coming and going at all times of day and night. This was difficult as I often needed to be in bed early and awake first thing due to commitments to uni, work and competitive sport. The doorbell was a particular problem for me as one of my flatmates sold tickets to club nights meaning that people would ring our doorbell looking for her at very unsociable times. This was just unlucky for me, though, so I can't blame the halls for that! Although I think the halls would have been good for facilitating socials, I didn't enjoy living in halls simply because my lifestyle didn't fit with the average fresher - this caused some tension with flat mates but, again, this isn't the fault of the halls. Overall I gave Liberty Court 3 stars because, although my room was nice and the facilities were good, I didn't enjoy living there.

The rooms are a decent size, with an ensuite. The staff on site are very friendly and helpful and they care about your wellbeing. It is close to the bullring by bus and the bus stopbis just outside the accomodatioj so that is very convenient . The only downside is the distance from university which is about a 30 minute walk. A shuttle bus is provided but only at set times and it cuts off after 6:35
