The location of the accommodation is poor, you'd expect it to be near lots of facilities however you are at least a 10 minuet walk from anywhere and a 30-45 minuet walk from the university. Also there is very limited parking and the area surrounding it is very rough and dangerous. Inside the staff are somewhat helpful if it is convenient for them, the rooms are small and dirty when you first arrive, there is a lot to fix, also after a while the doors run out of battery so can no longer be opened which is very inconvenient to say the least.

For the year that I lived here I hated every single second. I didn't get to choose who I lived with and therefore was put in a flat with 4 other strangers. At first we got along and it was nice but a few weeks in I started to just become SO done with the place. My flat mates were extremely messy-to the point I was having to prepare my meals on an ironing board because the kitchen worktops were THAT disgusting. This mess continued and despite continuous complaints to the (very rude and ignorant) staff I got nowhere. It even got to the stage where I was being charged extra on top of my bills for damages my flat mates made whilst throwing basketballs around the kitchen. It's not sanitary there and in fact- my best mate found maggots in his hoover and they did nothing about it. It's gross and I wouldn't recommend it. The only thing 'good' is that I was upgraded to a larger room for a smaller price but only because there was a mix-up. Wouldn't live here again.

Located in the heart of Birmingham it is near the town centre. Full access to a 24 hr gym. Security are very friendly and helpful

I am thankful for the people and friends I've met in my halls, but sadly I was unlucky with flatmates as one of them is very messy and steals my food sometimes. The accommodation team is very bad in Belgrave View, they lack communication with one another and they never attend to any problems residents have. They are also very rude to residents. The location of Belgrave View is ideal for getting into town, uni and for going on nights out, with only a 10 minute walk into town.

The staff were the worst. Came back after being assaulted, blood pouring down my face, and security wouldn't even call me a taxi to get to the hospital, just asked me which flat i was in and walked back to the office. Absolute dogshite.

Horrible student living conditions, always dirty Bad area of the city A few years ago there was a shot close from the building

Good location, reception hours are inconvenient for people on full time courses and staff can sometimes be quite blunt. Other than that it’s good as long as you get good flatmates. Could maybe do with more fridge space. One shelf each isn’t really enough.

Not massively expensive and the rooms aren't very new but very easy to make feel like home. A free gym and 24hr practice rooms for musicians are a great addition. Just be warned that in the winter it gets very cold in these halls.
