Rooms are a good size, nicely coloured and there is a good number of rooms to a flat. Often have flat nights out as we all get on really well. The treehouse is handy as there is a shop that sells all necessitys and elms village is right beside a 24 hour shop which is very handy.

Location is pretty good-20 mins away from Uni. Staff and secrurity are worth the money as is the wifi with is excellent most of the time. The worst part of my experience was my ten flat mates which were the grossest people ever-I was reluctant to enter the kitchen every time I wanted to cook myself anything. Every piece of crockery, cutlery or utensil had to be replaced as they were used by other people, not washed and thrown out by other people.

Fifteen minute walk to uni so is good location and is only a ten minute walk to Tesco! Great to be surrounded by students in a student village as it gives the full uni experience!

Loved elms! Best experience I have ever had and met some of the best people! Recommend to anyone who is starting at queens university Belfast!

The security is very strict and quite impractical for normal university life. Noise is strictly controlled which can be both irritating and convenient, but is certainly understandable in university halls. Generally, facilities are satisfactory but considering the cost and the fact that the accommodation is about a 20 minute walk from uni, the halls aren’t amazing.

Location is 5 mins from Tesco which is ideal and only a fifteen minute walk to the main building! Being surrounded by your friends makes it the perfect place to live.

Good location with lots of access to shops nearby etc. Good facilities within the compound but not enough of the facilities. Laundry is overcrowded and the shop is too small etc

The location was a bit far out from the main University buildings but I loved how secure the area was!

Overall elms is really good ! I love the social aspect of it , and everyone in our flat get along so well It is super handy to get to my building (the ashby) as it’s only a 5 minute walk I’m in premium standard, the rooms are colourful and handy, and there is never any issue with sharing the bathroom or shower. The only thing I could say is that the hot water sometimes is cold , and it’s really easy to lock yourself out of the room, but overall it’s great and I’m so glad I went to elms !

The rooms and facilities were wonderful, however I would have liked more heating settings as the rooms were on occasion rather cold. Elms felt like a close knit community and I am very grateful for the year I spent there as it allowed me to more slowly integrate into life in Belfast

Had a great expereince here, close enough to the university area, nightclubs and sport facilities! Great soical hub in the form of the treehouse with a safe secure environment provided by the 24 hour security!

Quite close to the university, 15 minute walk. The Treehouse has a handy shop for necessities and also a good study area with plenty of computers and free coffee, tea and hot chocolate supplied if studying late at night. All the flats are pretty close and security are really dead on. Free wifi

My room was a cheery Easyjet orange colour which definitely made it hard to be sad with such a bright colour around. The location was in the nice part of town only a 20 minute walk to the university with a handful of pubs and chippies scattered along the way. the gym wasn't too far either. the on site free coffee/tea and pool tables definitely helped the social experience. My block was recently renovated so we had a huge TV and a brand new kitchen which hopefully wasnt to worn down by the end of the year!.

Excellent accommodation. Cleaned regularly and staff were always available to help. My room had the old decor (holly grove) so wasn’t as modern as the rest but still more than comfortable

It was comfortable and cosy with lots of opportunities to meet new people. Additionally, we all had a resitdential assistant assigned to us to help us settle in. On top of all that, the reception was open 24/7 and there were specific numbers to contact if we required assistance. The all time security made it very safe to live in the place and the convineance store located there made it easy to get a quick snack. Would definitely recommend living in Queens Elms.

The location of Elms village is excellent. Everyone is nearby in their respective building making it easy to stay in contact with friends. The treehouse offers music and entertainment and there is a Mace shop in there for convenience. It is about 10 mins away from a large Tesco store making it easy to walk and get your shopping. Roughly takes 10-15 mins to walk from Elms to the Lanyon building (main Queen’s building). Security is taking very seriously at Elms and you are required to show ID and a key fob to gain access to Elms after 23:00.

Great location as it's very close to even the MBC building. As it's a student village you are surrounded by other students and are completely immersed in student life. There is also a very handy supermarket in the centre of the village which is great when you run out of milk!

Good social experience as everyone is together so easy and quick to see friends. WiFi was very temperamental in the kitchen but worked fine in the rooms. Distance from class was too far, a 20/25 minute walk and an hour walk from town. There was a free bus to lidl on a Tuesday which was very good. Room was basic but decent size. Very high security, had to have a student card and a key fob to get into Elms after 11pm.

Good as you pay for bills however security is a bit unnecessarily strong. Takes a long time to get mail. Can only have guests 6 days a month.

Good central area for all the residence in Elms village with lots of weekend events. Rooms are good with good communal areas. Only thing is that it is 15 min walk from main campus and even further to go to the city

Overpriced room and bathroom. Slow wifi and housemates who make using the kitchen and revising/sleeping in your room impossible due to creating a large mess, not cleaning after themselves and misusing appliances - e.g. Leaving cookers and rice cookers on, taps running, overfilling bins, leaving fridge doors lying open, turning fridges and freezers off and making copious amounts of noise throughout the day and night. management also do not respond to complaints. Also a long walk to the main campus. Very expensive for such a poor living environment
