Beautiful city, many places to eat out and things to do. Perfect for either a family day trip or if your a student wanting a night out. For those who want bigger nights out Bristol’s only a short train ride away.

There is a large variety of food choices here in Bath from simple Chinese food to Spanish fine dining. Therefore there are a lot of options whatever your budget is. Also, Bath has many cafes which you can explore in, they are mostly similarly priced and offer the similar food.

I love the city of Bath. It’s a small place meaning that everything is walking distance. There are plenty of high quality and good prices restaurants, so many that in my four years in this city I still haven’t been to all the ones in my list. There are also nice bars and some night clubs. Shopping is great with very cheap and very expensive shops, so it can suit anyone and any occasion. There are also a lot of museums and plays for those interested in more cultural aspects.

Great places to eat, good live music in pubs and close to clubs in Bristol. Lots of places to shop. A really clean, picturesque and pretty town. Very peaceful for students.

It is an excellent city with many things to enjoy for all ages. Given it’s size, it’s easy to get around to see what Bath has to offer. It has foods of all cuisines, great cocktail bars, and super clubs. If been here for the last five years and haven’t regretted it one bit. Taste card makes living in Bath more enjoyable with a large choice of where you can redeem 2 for 1

Something for everyone, Bath has quite a large city centre with a wide range of shops from high end brands all the way to your primarks.

Lovely city - a wide range of shops and restaurants. The Roman Baths are a must if visiting! Personally, I enjoy nights out here and it is a very safe city to go out in too!

In Bath, there are buses that go everywhere and that are mainly reliable, especially in the centre. There are so many different restaurants to choose from so everyone is happy. There is possibly limited entertainment in Bath. There are many theatres and bars but that’s about it when it come to obvious entertainment. It took me over a year to find out where the bowling is.

A beautiful city with lots to see and do. It not too big so it's easy to get around and walk around which makes it's easier! A wonderful place to live.

Beautiful city, great for long walks and sight seeing, shopping is good but also not too far from Bristol which has more to offer. Not always a lot to do otherwise.

Great student city, good transport links between London and Bristol etc. Lots of nice cafes for studying, eg Boston tea party... little bit expensive for food shopping, but there is a Lidl so that's more affordable.

Great shopping in bath and the best thing about it is there are loads of great places to eat. There are loads of things to do, especially around Christmas when the market is here. It's a fairly expensive city and the transport around it reflects that.

Bath is a beautiful city to be a student in. It is unique place, and knowing you are studying in a World Heritage city is a bonus. There are many options to try out different restaurants as well as exploring hidden gems of the city. However it does have some downs: options for night life are pretty limited and the transport service can range from very good to very bad depending on the bus service. Overall I would say I enjoy living here as a student.

The bars, pubs and food are great but not a massive clubbing city. Loads of shops and you can walk everywhere because it's not too big which is good. If you like rugby it's the best city in the UK

A great city to live in. Very pretty and several shops and places to eat. However, things can be a little expensive and the clubs aren't great compared to other cities, such as Bristol. Bus routes are good but First have offered a poor service on the U1 and U2

Great nights out, beautiful city with lots of shopping. However everything is expensive, drinks, accomodation, food. Transport is great when it works.

Bath is a wonderful, cultured city; there are loads of unique shops and a great variety of foodie places offering cuisine from all over the world. There are several good nightclubs, all of which are underground, where you can have a great time, even if you are a little bit cramped in. We have a rugby and football team, so good for any sports fans; and there are great walks available at no price, such as the Bath skyline walk and taking a stroll through Victoria Park. Fantastic place to live or visit, come give it a go.

The club scene is quite dire in Bath in comparison to places like Bristol and Cardiff. But Bath nightlife is whatever you make of it, it is a very different sort of nightlife. Bath in the daytime is beautiful. Roman architecture gives Bath an archaic look, setting it aside from most places in the UK. Shopping in Bath is amazing, there are a large range of shops. There is a large variety of food on offer, with there being loads of cafe's and restaurants spread around the whole city. Definitely not going to struggle finding a bite. Bath is a perfect city for a day or weekend break.

The city is very beautiful and great for shopping and having meals out. Although all the clubs are quite small and it is quite an expensive place to live e.g. Other than sainsburys the main accessible supermarkets are waitrose and M&S.

Bath is a beautiful university town with great architecture, including the Royal Crescent, the Circus and the Abbey. Great for shopping and gastronomy. Though not widely renowned, the student nightlife is pretty good with an increasing variety of music styles. For those wanting more, Bristol is only a short train ride away. On a tamer note, the surrounding countryside is bountiful with many cosy villages to explore. A highlight is the Christmas Markets which brings the city to life in December. Another key date is the annual Bath Half Marathon, which takes place in March.

Bath has a few good night clubs but the main issue is that most of them are very small. There are countless places to each and there is something for everyone, from takeaways to fancy restaurants. There are huge parades of shops and the Christmas market. There's not loads to do. There's mini golf and a cinema are you're main two options and the city is beautiful which obviously makes it more expensive on the whole but it is still reasonable value for money
