Good value relative to other halls of residence at university of bath. Location is close to most things on campus. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are good and bathrooms cleaned regualrly. Social space is sufficient but poor relative to other accommodations.

Small rooms with shared bathrooms between 18-22 people. Tiny rooms are made up for by good kitchen space.

Wolfson: Room was the perfect size and included everything we needed, good layout. The social experience was really good due to there being 20 of us on one floor. The kitchen could have had a better lay out without the wall between the table and cooking area, however the size was good with enough cupboard space. No social area so kitchen was used for this, which worked fine.

As this accommodation is central on campus, it is extremely convenient and close to all university buildings. As there were renovations happening the summer before we moved in, there were issues in the kitchen areas and bedrooms with completion of these, as well as general tidyness. It took a few months to sort all of these, but once sorted, there were minimal issues. In general, this accommodation was very social due to there being a large number of students in each house, but due to the lack of a social space and only small kitchens, it was hard to socialise with other accommodations.

The room was the perfect size with everything you needed and the communal showers were always clean. The only criticism I have is the fact that there are two kitchens and it causes a flat divide (in mine there was one kitchen at the top and another at the bottom), also there is no social space really big enough for us all, but the greenery around it (which other halls don’t have) means it is so so easier to socialise with people in the other flats in your block.

The lack of a social space, and tiny kitchen with not enough seating was very disappointing as the main reason I moved out of home was for the social aspect.

Great central location on campus. Lots of people to meet immediately. Rooms have everything you need. One of the cheapest accommodations. Cleaned thoroughly once a week.

I lived in Quarry for first year. The halls were very basic, with up to 10 of us sharing a kitchen which could get very cramped at times with often not enough space for everyone to eat. My halls were some of the furthest from university buildings but, given there were 22 of us in my flat, it was very sociable.

Great social experience. Poor pricing for quality of refurbishment. No social space. The location for lectures and su is great. Lots of flats around. Shop across the road with banks etc

Location was amazing and Westwood Wolfson is the perfect university experience because you like with 21 people! Rooms are bigger than expensive accommodation and sink in room is a life saver. Shared bathroom was fine, never needed to wait. Only downside was kitchen facilities were too small for the amount people.

Pretty standard accommodation but has all you need. It is actually nice to have a large flat size, to meet lots of new people and form good friendship groups. Sharing toilets and showers has not been an issue at all.

For what you pay, pretty good. Rooms are lovely, nearly bigger than more expensive accommodation. Everything works and if anything breaks it’s fixed very quickly. Lacks a good social space but nice in the summer as surrounded by lots of grass so doesn’t matter.

Decent size room but the corridor is like a prison. Good water pressure in the shower and love having a sink in my room. Kitchen is too small for 9 people. Really lacks social space, no sofa or anywhere to chill out socially. Despite small kicthen, decent to have 2 ovens and 2 sets of Hobs between 9 people

Good location as close to lectures and the shop on campus. Good space in rooms. Kitchen sizes could be bigger and a social space would be good. Should be cheaper rent as no ensuite.

I hated these halls so much it has caused me to commute to university from home. They are like a prison and have no social space which cause it to be very dark and claustrophobic. I would not recommend these halls to anyone

As far as the location goes, it’s a campus university so everything is pretty close, but for the amount I pay in my accomodation block it’s not worth it. There’s no communal area so it’s hard to properly socialise or chill with people apart from the kitchen, which is shared amongst 10 people so is way too small. My room isn’t too bad but I have to clean it 24/7 cause it gets so dirty. Overall really not great.

Tiny social area (kitchen only) and rooms not much bigger, but great location on campus. Obviously Eduroam is just dire so can’t bland accommodation too much for that

Good room sizes, excellent WiFi, I had a sink in my room which was extremely useful (Cotswolds). 18 rooms in a single ‘house’ gave a really good social feel. Large desk and plenty of plug sockets.
