Aberystwyth is a lovely seaside town in Wales with a few shops, caste, pubs and clubs. Myself and boyfriend went new years eve and went to a lovely Indian restaurant and had a walk on constitution hill new years day.

Lovely town with a very friendly atmosphere. Plenty of delicious food outlets offering a good amount of vegetarian and vegan options.

Went for a day out in summer and it was amazing, the sun was shining, the beach was clean and well kept. Found some cute cafès to eat lunch and ate at the dovey inn for dinner. Made my summer complete. Me and my boyfriend spent the day lay in the beach and in the sea, the atmosphere of the people was amazing everyone happy and polite I loved the day. I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely visit again. Also train journey was quick and affordable!

Aberystwyth is one of the loveliest and safest places to live! As a university student I feel very safe and secure when in town and on campus!

Being only 5 minutes away from the beach is incredible, long day? Beach. Someone’s birthday? Beach. Just wanna see your mates for a beer? Beach! Honestly it may be a fairly small town but we wouldn’t change it for the world, and there are some great little independent coffee shops and even the cinemas fairly cheap! It’s affordable housing too and that makes uni that bit more comfortable, I love it!

Aberystwyth is a long drive from any other cities, but being so near to a beautiful coast means the distance to anywhere else is forgotten. The feeling of isolation is rare, with so many opportunities to socialise, shop, drink and relax. Aberystwyth is home to some of the most incredible sunsets, and with its hilly surroundings these can be witnessed without the hustle and bustle of the town or beach. These hilly locations are also perfect for appreciating the night sky, with little to no light pollution. A perfect choice for those wishing to be at a university, but not live in a huge city, without losing the popular high street stores and restaurants.

Aberystwyth is the most beautiful town. It’s perfect for students that aren’t used to the commotion of big city life. You never feel unsafe, or out of place in Aberystwyth. With it being a mostly student populated town, most things are catered towards us. If you’re into the social scene, make sure to end your night in Why Not Bar and Lounge (aka YOKOS). You won’t be disappointed.

Awesome location, near the sea. When it's sunny town looks beautiful, there's awesome food here, everyone is nice and cheerful. Uni staff is as helpful as it can be.

It’s gorgeous! Lovely small town one the coast, beautiful views of the sea, I don’t know how you could ask for anything else! Sure, the uni itself is up a bit hill, but the views from the top make it all worth it.

Most beautiful place I've been to in the UK. The clean atmosphere of the people and place is so inviting and pleasing. I couldn't think of coming to a better location for University.

Absolutely beautiful. There may be limited amenities other than bars/pubs but living by the sea means you can create your own fun! Beach BBQs, sports in the day, swimming, bonfires at night...I could never live away from the ocean again. The rest of the surrounding town is rural and feels like a totally different place to the centre. Lots of great little local shops and cafe's, and plenty of places to drink on a night out. Most of all Aberystwyth is so friendly, I feel very safe here.

Location is gorgeous, the seaside is beautiful and despite the hill, the university is amazingly well placed. I have absolutely no doubt that the location of his university is the reason for higher student satisfaction rates.

Aberystwyth is an awesome seaside town. Surrounded by the Cambrian mountains, aber offers a range of things to do, be it walking or surfing. Their is a direct train link to Birmingham which is super useful for anyone wanting to get back to city life

Great student town. Easy to find your way around after a while and good transport links, although the buses can sometimes be unreliable. Landscape and scenery is beautiful!!

Why wouldn’t you want to go to a university with a sea view from the library and lecture theatres. Aberystwyth is a beautiful location surounded by beaches and hills that you can explore. The town is pretty cheap, especially on nights out. One wouldn’t expect such a small town on the coast of rural wales to have a good night life however if going out is your thing you won’t be disappointed. Even though there are only 2 clubs there are over 50 pubs to explore and the 2 clubs are always popping so be prepared for an amazingly cheap nights out!
