There are quite a few pubs but not a great night scene, lovely views and great for study. The sea is lovely around the summer time and it's great to go for walks in and around the town, I love exploring all of the little surprises in Aberystwyth

There are quite a lot of places you can visit like the castle, the prom, the pier and much more. It has great shops and amazing people. There is loads of stuff to do there and there are plenty of places to go for a night out. There's a cinema there so there is plenty of stuff to watch when you are bored.

Aberystwyth being located on the coast sets itself far away from most of the uk and as such has its own unique dynamic that has to seen to believe. The people are friendlier than anywhere I’ve been thus far (including Canada), also being a very safe town I have heard of a few incidents and have only seen one in person. There is somewhat limited things to do other than the expansive nightlife and eating establishments, however, most amenities are available within a few miles of the town centre but require either a taxi or car to make use of such as the bowling alley being located in the next village Clarach.

The Aber bubble is a very real thing. It may only have half a high street of shops, but it is full of fun independent shops and restaurants. There’s definitely enough to get by, but you’ll have to do your main shopping either online or when you go home. But the positive is definitely having a beach that you can enjoy the weather on - barbecues and beach bonfires to enjoy! There are only two clubs, but it does mean that you get to see everyone you know. Plus, there are so many pubs that you’re bound to find one you love. Besides that, it is a very safe town with a real community feel.

Set in a good location not too far from the beach, with a small amount of shops for clothing and food. Restaurants completely redeem the town, with an abundance of gorgeous places to dine out -however they do mostly close very early.

Aberystwyth is such a pretty coastal town and although the nightlife isn’t the best, it is quite peaceful and calming so during exam time it’s easy to escape the stress by just walking out the front door which is always good!! The shopping isn’t great and we are far away from any big shopping town/city but that has helped with saving money! 😂

It’s coastal, so in my opinion it’s gorgeous! The town can be a little boring, and the hill up to the uni is a challenge if you live in town, but it’s a beautiful place! The view from the overlook and from the top of constitution hill is incredible
