Rooms very comfy with good space for work and storage. The kitchen is well kitted out and relatively new. Student bar, shop and many other facilities such as pool, table tennis and badminton on site. The uni also put on many events for students. Wi-Fi us generally good and connects to the uni WiFi.

Good location to uni - it only takes 15 mins to get in, but takes a while to get into town. Apart from that it is great!

Hector Boece court is situated in the Hillhead Halls of Residence. There are many student residences in this complex. Hector Boece looks like it was renovated recently. The kitchen is very new (although the fridge could be a little bit bigger) and with two separated toilets and a big shower room, there is no stress in a 5-person flat. Although there are parties in Hillhead, with closed windows you can barely hear anything in the room. What I don't like are the heaters that you can't turn off, therefore making you keep the windows open very often and the circuit company laundry rooms. The laundry rooms are an absolute rip-off: the laundry machines are often faulty, often leading to your clothes being dirtier after washing them and the price at around 2.60 pounds per wash is absolutely expensive for student halls. Other than that I really enjoy Hillhead.

There were five people in one flat. Everyone had their own room and the kitchen/living room/shower and toilets were all shared. Living at halls is the best way to meet new people which is very convenient when you have just started university and do not know too many people. Hence the social experience that the halls provided was very good, also there were flat warming events and a lot of mini parties where people invited you over to their flats. Everyone lived extremely close to each other which was also a bonus. Sometimes it was too loud and the walls were quite thin so you could hear your neighbours and flatmates. The Wifi was fast , the rooms were warm and surprisingly clean. The size of the room and bed was rather small nevertheless as you do not stay in your room too much anyways it was not an issue. Overall the flat was very modern and everything worked inside the flat. Whenever there was problems with anything inside the flat we could report it and a person came to fix it. The halls are about 15 min walk away from the campus nevertheless the walk is with nice scenery as the road goes through a park.

The halls are very well laid out and are a great size. The rooms are very nice and it is easy to socialise with your room mates. The kitchen is a decent size and a very good place to catch up on everyone's day. The benefit of having two bathrooms is great and the shower is very spacious also. The only irritating thing about the shower is that it only stays on for about 30 seconds, despite this, I fully support the Unite aim to reduce water consumption. The lay out of the buildings in the hillhead area makes it very easy to socialise and being in blocks makes it a great way to make new friends with your neighbours. The main building is convienent for picking up some shopping but it is very expensive which is often annoying. The Works is a very enjoyable space but it is sad that more students don't try to do things there at night which would make it more lively. The location also provides an easy walk onto campus and nearby shops.

The location was was a 10/15 minute walk to uni which was really good apart from the hill at the end of seaton park that is awful. Lild is a 10 minute walk which was so helpful and there is a shop on site for any last minute necessities if you don't want to walk anywhere. Hector boece has quite a few parties that you can hear the noise from your room which is bad if it's in your building. Facilities are good if something was wrong with the flat or any complains the reception at hillhead are so nice. Always had warm water and heating when needed. Good for meeting people to walk to uni with or spend time at the weekends that I met from freshers events at hillhead. Which was very helpful to meet people not on my course. The room was the perfect size and had plenty of privicy in the second floor, loads of storage room and desk for uni work which was needed!

The room was small but had everything I needed. The bathrooms were sufficient and the shower was good, but had to push the button to keep it going. The kitchen had most of what we needed, just not very much fridge space for five people, but it was good enough.

It was great, never had any issues. Staff were great. A little far from university, but nothing too bad.

Located a little bit too far from the main campus. The village itself is amazing, full of students with AMAZING social life. Some of the room are too small though.
