I have a really good contract with Three, but they have caused me major problems recently. They keep cutting off my service, saying I haven't paid my bill when I have, only to take 24 hours to restore the service for this to happen again the next month.

I have been using Three for almost 4 years now. To be honest, the signal service is not very good, but I just couldn't get bored it change the company. Overall not very happy with Three actually.

The reception is probably the worst in the whole east-central area of the city all the way up to north london (Harringay) and extending to east london, a rather big area. Worst of all is that not only the internet is poor but if you leave in most parts of these area you won't even be able to call from inside a building. Tryied to switch phone as suggested by the customer service but without success after months wasted calling and asking for a solution which they say they found. Morale of the story nothing as changed and I'm still paying for the contract since they refuse to let me off it without paying 50 quids. Stay away from it even if the prices are tempting unless you leave and spend most of your time in the west part of the city where magically you have 4G+ coverage.

The quality of coverage is good. Three network provides internet on the underground . The three app on iOS doesn't work sometimes. Customer service is not good, they fail to give satisfactory responses. All they do is escalate the issue and never reply back.

The signal can be pretty bad at times and the connection completely goes off at times but we do get good perks like wuntu and lots of data which makes things a bit easier when I'm out and about

Overall, Three is a very average service. Their customer service is well-meaning but ineffective at times. I've given them my account details in the past, just for them to turn around and tell me that the details are invalid (and apologise later). I've had them mess up details within my contract before, and block my account over misunderstandings. Of course, once the situation has been discussed, it is usually promptly resolved, but the fact that such issues existed in the first place is ridiculous. One time my phones SIM went dead, leaving me stranded in Birmingham. My train pass and bus pass and taxi app were all on my phone and required internet to work. This was because they sent me a new SIM without letting me know. Little things like this prove to be really annoying. The coverage has been average too. Too many times I have been in spaces where my phone has been in "no service" - but counterparts on other networks are finding no issue. The price for my contract was pretty decent, but it's a small consolation for all the issues I had with the network.

I was told about a contract at first and then once I had agreed it had changed and was then left with no idea but to join the contract for a different price and for a duration of 12 months. With it, I have no signal so no amount of data offered can help that. So for now, I'm counting down the days until I'm out of this contract.

The 3G network is slow and reception is very poor especially indoors. I'm glad it allows me to use the sim in Europe whilst travelling. I usually top up £10 every 1.5-2 months. Three has the Wuntwo app which gives three-users some perks but they aren't as good as vodaphones or virgin's. They're usually just a free drink at Gregg's etc.
