Residence for 2019

The best Halls of Residence in the UK based on student reviews collected over 2018.

#1

Falkner Eggington

Loughborough University

The hall provides a fantastic social experience, has a student committee which is run by current students in Falk Egg. Lots of opportunities provided. Brilliant value for money.

#2

Peel Park Quarter

University of Salford

The student accomodation is amazing, very friendly helpful staff. I like peel park quarter because it is very safe and student friendly

#3

Lafrowda

University of Exeter

Great location only 2mins away from the lecture halls. Was clean and modern with good facilities. Staff were friendly and always made sure you were okay.

#4

The Vale Village

University of Birmingham

I lived on the tennis courts, the vale for a year and it was such a sociable place to spend first year. You’d meet so many new people and was perfect for a first year accommodation.

#5

Ranmoor/Endcliffe

University of Sheffield

Great accommodation in a fantastic location. Not too far from the university (about 20min walk) but instead in a quiet student village type setting with a rural feel

#6

Rootes

University of Warwick

The location of Rootes is perfect if you want somewhere close to the centre of the uni - only a 2/3 min walk from the SU and main piazza.

#7

Liberty Point Southampton

Intercollegiate Halls

Close to city centre and clubs as well as shops and West Quay shopping centre; the rooms are bigger than most halls and newly refurbished.

#8

Bay Campus

Swansea University

Really nice as all new and good access to all floors with lifts and stairs. Bedroom nice with good en suite with good shower.

#9

Crown Place

University of Liverpool

Very modern and clean but occasionally a bit noisy being so close to town. Nice sized kitchens and handy that it comes with all appliances.

#10

Carr-Saunders Hall

London School of Economics

Great experience! It’s the smallest hall, so everyone knows each other. The rooms were recently renovated so that’s nice.
