Discover the best Easter eggs in the UK that you can buy online, in-store and on a budget… PS They’re also vegan.
Easter is upon us once again, and who doesn’t want to celebrate by stuffing themselves silly with a chocolate egg? In a bid to save you hours searching for the perfect vegan Easter egg, we’ve created the ultimate guide, and there’s something for every budget.
Aldi
You’ll be surprised you can find a premium Easter egg that ticks all the boxes in Aldi. Their Moser Roth line is stepping up to the challenge, and a new vegan Easter egg range has been launched. While cheap, they don’t compromise on flavour, and they’re sure to make a nice change from all the other eggs you’ll get this year.
Moo Free
If you’re vegan or dairy-free and haven’t heard about Moo Free, then where have you been? And no, they’re not just typical boring Easter eggs minus the milk - check out the cool flavours like sour cherry, mint and honeycomb! As cheap as £3, you won’t break the bank with this treat.
Bournville Easter egg
The classic. Everyone loves a good bit of dark chocolate, and Cadbury’s is one of the nation’s favourite chocolate makers. At only £4, what’s not to love?
NOMO
If you’re vegan and free-from, then you should have your eyes on NOMO’s hazlenot and salted caramel Easter eggs. The great news is that you can pop out to buy these, as they’re available in Holland and Barrett, one of the shops open during lockdown, and they’ll only set you back around £6, so they’re a great mid-range option.
Hotel Chocolat
This is the wild card, the ultra-boujee one, but we know what you’re thinking - £31?! That’s more than I spend on food shopping… What student could afford such luxury? This is one that you can pop on your list for Mum and Dad to buy, or perhaps your s/o. You lucky devil.
