For the thrill seekers amongst us, this time of year is the perfect excuse to go out and ‘enjoy’ some chilling Halloween events across the UK. Something guaranteed to scare you shitless! It's the perfect activity for a big group of friends or a couple ready to cling to each other for their lives. Fright nights are a good way to get in the Halloween spirit. 

Finding a genuinely terrifying fright night however can be a struggle, no one wants to waste their money on a haunted house that wouldn’t even spook a child. This selection of petrifying Halloween fright nights is here to give you some inspiration for a thrilling activity this spooky season.

Shocktober Fest - Tulleys Farm

Tulleys Farm is probably best known for its fearsome Shocktober Fests. Incredible actors are ready to horrify you from start to finish. Brave yourself entering the selection of different mazes and scare attractions. Famous for the right reasons, Shocktober Fest is definitely an event you’ll be having nightmares about for a while. 

Fear scream park- Avon Farm

Avon Farm’s Fear Scream park has previously been named the Uk’s most terrifying fright night, one that is definitely worth every penny and will be a truly hair-raising experience. Avon offers the same style of frights as Tulleys and other fright farms, with creepy actors and walk-through attractions definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Fright Night- Thorpe Park

Another of the most infamous horrific Halloween attractions, Thorpe park puts on a frightful night of entertainment that visitors will find equally as thrilling as their usual amusement rides. The park is filled with gory attractions, and unavoidable actors, also a much better option if you are looking to avoid the mud of other farm-based fright nights. 

Cursed- Crouch Valley Showground

The number one Halloween event in Essex, Cursed features six different blood-curdling mazes that will test your nerves as you work your way through. Winners of multiple awards, Cursed are sure to provide the Halloween horrors you need to complete your October this year.

Scarefest- Alton Towers

A more family-friendly experience, but still not for the weak-willed. Alton Towers offers four gruesome horror mazes for older visitors, as well as family spooks and a Haribo trick-or-treat trail. Only running for two weekends in October, this is definitely one worth taking the spooky risk. 

Scare Kingdom scream park

Located in Lancashire, Scare Kingdom put on a nightmarish display of Halloween entertainment, featuring multi-award-winning scare mazes and haunted attractions. It's sure to give you the fright of your life! Not only do Scare Kingdom provide during October, but also throughout the year they take their monstrous festivities to nearly all holidays, including the ‘Christmas of Evil’ and ‘Valenterror’. If you miss out this Halloween, keep a look out for their other horrifying events.

Xtreme Scream park- Twinlakes Park

Rated five stars on Tripadvisor and voted the most terrifying fright night event in the Uk. Xtreme Scream offers seven, gruesome scare attractions featuring hideous actors and props. They'll make your hairs stand on end as you attempt to survive ‘Ash Hell Penitentiary’ or ‘The Pie Factory’, plus other nightmare-themed mazes.
