Cool new arrivals at Netflix and other streaming services

If only all the services could unite into one platform so that we can compare the lineup and what we want to watch.

It’s hard to keep track of the various streaming services. While they do individually keep us updated on what they’re up to, what you really want is to see everything in one place. In case you’re juggling the various services as you need them, here are all the fresh arrivals this autumn.

Renewals

  • Disenchantment (Part 5) - September 1st. The final season of the Groening animated series telling the tales of Bean, Elfo and Luci.
  • Love is Blind (Season 4) - September 1st. Trash TV at its best. We may not admit that we love this chaotic reality show but we do.
  • Glow Up (Season 5) - September 12th. Another season to enjoy envying someone’s creative makeup skills.
  • It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Season 16) - September 16th. The gang are back for the latest season of shenanigans.

Classics

  • Jackass Number Two: Unrated - September 1st. Watching people hurt themselves has never been this good.
  • Godzilla & Godzilla vs Kong - September 5th. Big monster? Followed up by two big monsters fighting? Sign me up.

Originals

  • Love at First Sight - September 15th. Two people fall in love on a plane journey and struggle to find each other after.
  • El Conde - September 15th. Chilean dictator Pinochet isn’t actually dead, he’s a 250 year old vampire wanting to die.
  • The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar - September 27th. Based on a Roald Dahl short story about a man who wants to learn to see without eyes and hustle a casino.
  • Reptile - October 6th. Surreal detective drama/thriller with an all-star cast.
  • The Devil on Trial - October 17th. A documentary about the only legal case where a defendant tried to say that they were possessed at the time of the incident.
  • Sister Death (Hermana Muerte) - October. A former nun returns to her convent, now a school to teach the children there.

  • The Wheel of Time (Season 2) - September 1st. A great option for those who want a high fantasy world to sink their teeth into.

  • Gen V (Season 1) - September 29th. Being both a spin-off from The Boys and being labelled as a dramedy sets up interesting expectations.
  • Cassandro - September 22nd. A highly anticipated biopic about a Mexican wrestler of the same name.

  • I Am Groot (Season 2) - September 6th. Get ready for more cute tree shorts. The titular plant person returns for another run.
  • Welcome to Wrexham (Season 2) - September 13th. The documentary series about Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny running a small football club continues.
  • The Kardashians (Season 4) - September 28th. 

Classics

Loads of Disney classic animations are hitting the platform like Bone Trouble (1940), Merbabies (1938) and Mickey’s Kangaroo (1935).

Originals

  • The Little Mermaid (2023) - September 6th. The live action adaptation of the classic movie.
  • Butter Man: The Slickest Mexican Thief - September 13th. Drama series following a notoriously slippery Mexican gangster.
  • Likes For Sale - September 22nd. Brazilian film following the life of an actor trying to reinvent himself through social media.
