1. Snake plant 

Like we said here, snake plants don’t need a lot of TLC so are perfect for the student lifestyle.

These plants like low light, bright light, to hang, trail or get stuck on a moss pole. Whatever.

3. Aloe vera

Yes, everyone makes the ‘hello Vera’ joke, but it doesn’t get old, does it? This plant will get old though, because it’s so difficult to kill.

4. Succulents

They store water in their leaves so you don’t even have to get up and feed them. Smart, right?

You might also hear the fancy schmancy name monstera thrown around too. Like cockroaches, these guys will survive the apocalypse.

They’re super pretty and come in a lot of varieties - there’s one for everyone.
