Freshers week is a great opportunity to make friends with the people you will be living with for the next year. There are many events and offers on throughout the week at the SU and the nightclubs in town.

The events were good and the themes provided good opportunities to get dressed up and have fun. Was good that you could purchase a wristband for tramps to make a saving on entrance fees. Also the day time events such as the cider festival were good fun and nice chance to get to know new students.

great way to meet new friends and have a way of breaking the ice. Sick events that really help you settle into your uni life. Moving in gets easier if you have something in common to talk about - what event you're most excited for possibly! Just enjoy it most of all, it'll only help you lay the basis of friends, halls and what activities you enjoy doing.

For me, freshers is an essential week to release party energy before the serious uni stuff begins and stops you craving a really big night out for a few weeks. It's great for creating fresh bonds with housemates and getting to know familiar faces you'll inevitably see on nights out later in the year!
